Animals (such as bees, birds, and bats) that transfer pollen between flowers enabling plants to make seeds and fruit and reproduce. Pollination is essential for agriculture. Insects, such as bees, are key pollinators but are under threat from pesticides. Pollinators are threatened by climate change.
