Definition

Seventeen themed goals adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Each goal provides targets, with indicators used to measure progress. There are three environment-focussed SDGs (SDG13, climate action; SDG14, life below water; SDG15, life on land), but all SDGs intersect with planetary health.
