Agrobiodiversity

The variety of animals and plants used for food and non-food (e.g. fuel, medicines, materials) purposes. Agrobiodiversity loss refers to the rapid decline of species, including animal breeds and crop varieties, primarily driven by more intensive agriculture practices. Reduced agrobiodiversity makes agriculture more vulnerable to climate risks and disease and threatens food security.
