Waste crisis

Humans generate an enormous amount of waste. The waste crisis is caused and amplified by over-consumption (such as fast fashion), over-use (such as excess plastic packaging), human behaviour (such as food waste in the home), and poor waste management. The three R’s mantra (reduce, reuse, recycle) offers a simple remedy, but system change is needed such as adopting a circular economy.
